Hi all, my name is Stacey Keating and I am excited (and also somewhat terrified) to take part in North Georgia’s Dancing Stars 2019. I moved to Chattanooga almost four years ago from Pittsburgh, PA, and work as Director of PR & Corporate Communications for CBL Properties (aka the company bringing The Cheesecake Factory to the area).
I am a tap class drop out, and unless you count dancing in my kitchen to I Love the 90s on IHeartRadio, I have absolutely no dancing experience. I can thank Kim Carson (a Star last year and the cheery voice you hear weekday mornings on Sunny 92.3) for convincing me that making a fool of myself on the dance floor in front of over 600 people is good idea – because when Kim asks you to do something you basically can’t say no.
All kidding aside, I am humbled and proud to participate and raise funds for such a worthy cause. Growing up I witnessed first-hand the positive impact good health insurance and access to quality health care can have on a person’s well-being as I watched my brother live with a congenital heart problem. Fortunately, his was identified early and he has been able to get the treatment he needs to live a completely normal, productive life. The sad reality is that many children and adults right here in our area don’t have that same access.
Through clinics and school-based programs, Primary Healthcare Partners is able to fill in those gaps for hundreds of kids and adults in our area; providing primary health care services, dental services, nutrition and dietician services, regardless of their ability to pay.
So here’s how you can help. I’ll take care of the hard part (the dancing, duh), all you have to do is DONATE! In addition to every dollar I raise being a “vote” for my stellar performance on the dance floor, it also puts me closer to my goal of raising at least $12,000 for this incredible organization. Thanks for your support!
